Comparison between European and Russian Standards for Ultrasonic Tests of Welded Joints

Abstract

European standards EN 1712, EN 1713, and EN 1714 for ultrasonic testing and evaluation of welded joints are analyzed. The standards are compared to the Russian acting standard GOST 14782 and the main regulating documents issued by the government's departments.
