Chapters IV, 5–7 of Nebrija's Gram´tica are devoted to grammatical vitia and their consequent oratorical licences. The comparison of these sections with the corresponding passages in Introductiones of 1481 and Donatus' Ars maior, which is the main source, allows one to clarify the reformulation of Donatian theory by Nebrija, and also the appearance of several gaps that affect metalepsis, hyperbaton, allegoria (paroemia, sarcasmos and astismos), and homoeosis (icon, parabole and paradigma). All theses omissions, either directly or indirectly, are due to sauts du même au même, errors at times caused by the typesetter, but at least on two occasions (metalepsis and hyperbaton), perhaps belonging to Nebrija's own original.
