Résumé

Le Datura officinal est une plante connue en médecine traditionnelle dans les pays du Maghreb pour ses vertus sédatives sur le système nerveux central [1]. Nommée « Herbe aux fous », elle est utilisée comme substance psychotrope1, tout comme la belladone ou la mandragore [2]. Nous rapportons le cas d’une patiente de 68 ans prise en charge par le Smur pour des hallucinations évoluant vers un coma suite à une intoxication sévère au Datura.
