Abstract
Objective
To observe the clinical efficacy of tuina in treating knee osteoarthritis (KOA).
Methods
Forty-eight cases with KOA who met the inclusion criteria were enrolled and received tuina therapy. Visual analogue scale (VAS) was used to evaluate pain degree. VAS, range of motion (ROM) and Lysholm score were observed before and after intervention to evaluate the clinical efficacy.
Results
After treatment, VAS score, ROM and Lysholm score were significantly improved, and the total effective rate was 87.5%.
Conclusion
The therapeutic efficacy of tuina in treating KOA was reliable.
