Fehlerkultur im Kinderschutz – Sind wir schon gut aufgestellt?

Zusammenfassung

In diesem Beitrag wird gezeigt, dass die Fehlerkulturdebatte eine paradoxe Intention enthält: Fehler sind zwar unerwünscht, sie stellen aber doch eine zentrale Lernquelle dar. Im Kinderschutz wurde bislang selten aus Fehlern gelernt, sie wurden vielmehr einzelnen Sündenböcken, meistens den Mitarbeitern des ASD zugeschrieben. Im Gegensatz dazu wird hier für eine systemische Strategie plädiert, wonach nicht der einzelne Mitarbeiter, auch nicht allein sein Vorgesetzter oder nur die Leitung des Jugendamts oder nur die Ärzte in die Pflicht zu nehmen sind, sondern das gesamte staatliche Kinderschutzsystem samt Polizei und Justiz. Und aus all diesen Fehlern sollte dann gelernt werden.

Abstract

In this article the debate about culture of failure is defined as a paradoxical issue because often the result of failure is a good learning. But in the child protection system in Germany mostly a single social worker is defined as a guilty person. In contrast to this definition the whole system of child protection is to restore, the interaction between the social workers and their chiefs, between the child department and the executives in the office, between the social workers and the physicians, and the whole government including the police and the legal authority.
