Abstract
Six compounds, schizandriside, resveratrol, (+)-catechin, (−)-epicatechin, (+)-gallocatechin, and (−)-epicatechin gallate, were isolated from the roots of Ampelopsis japonica (Vitaceae). Their structures were determined on the basis of both chemical and spectroscopic data.
