Approximation gewisser Operatoren durch Operatoren endlichen Ranges und eine Kollokationsmethode

Summary

Certain bounded linear operators from Hilbert spaces H into function spaces C(X) are approximated by operators of finite rank with the aid of orthogonal projections. As examples for such operators we present special integral operators and linear partial differential operators. As application we consider a collocation method.
