3rd International One Health Congress

The 3rd International One Health Congress will be held from March 15–18, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. IOHC2015 brings science and policy together aiming at the early recognition and control of emerging (infectious) diseases, now and in the years to come. Prevention at the source is the overall congress theme, as this is key in controlling (infectious) diseases that have a growing impact on humans, animals, and their ecosystems. The 3rd International One Health Congress focuses on multidisciplinary collaboration involving human, veterinary and ecohealth disciplines, other life sciences, social sciences, and informatics. Impact of Environmental Changes on Infectious Diseases

IECID 2015 will be held from March 23–25, 2015 in Sitges, Spain. This conference will discuss the impact of current and predicted future environmental changes on infectious disease dynamics in people, wildlife, and livestock across the globe, and what actions need to be taken. Major themes for the conference include: the effects of climate changes, globalization, urbanization, and habitat loss on infectious disease patterns in human and animal populations; socio-demographic and economic factors influencing populations and their impact on the distribution and prevalence of infectious diseases; policies and mechanisms of intervention to prevent or reduce the spread of infectious diseases related to environmental change; and future prospects for tackling emerging and neglected diseases. 6th Annual CUGH Conference
