The phi (ϕ) shown in the paragraph above Equation 14 should be the same with the phi (ϕ) shown in Eq. 14. The correct equation should be:

$$ {v}^2-{v}^2{\left(1-{R}_{ru}\right)}^2=g\left( \tan \phi L+{h}_{d2}\right) $$

In Fig. 13, the upper broken line is missing. The following image shows the correct Fig. 13.
