Henri-François Le Dran est un chirurgien français des Lumières qui, le premier, en 1757, a formalisé la propagation des cancers, à partir de la tumeur primitive localisée, par voie lymphatique et sanguine, avec les conséquences chirurgicales en découlant.

Abstract

Henri-François Le Dran is a French surgeon of the Enlightenment who first described, in 1757, the extension of a primary localized cancer by lymph and blood route and justified its surgical treatment.
