Abstract
This paper reported the pulse laser characteristics of Nd3+:KY(WO4)2 crystal grown in our laboratory with an impurity of 4.57%. The maximum laser output was 61.6 mJ at 1.06 m, pumped by a single Xenon flash-lamp. The laser energy threshold value Eth was 0.32 J. The overall and slope efficiencies were 0.43% and 0.45%.
