Zusammenfassung

Die erworbenen ZNS-Läsionen sind oft subtil, und eine präzise pränatale Diagnostik ist in diesen Fällen besonders wichtig. Die fetale Sonographie und das fetale MRT können hierzu einen relevanten Beitrag leisten. Die Sonographie ist immer noch die Untersuchungsmethode der Wahl während der Schwangerschaft. Insbesondere bei bestimmten Pathologien wie der periventrikulären Leukomalazie (PVL) oder einer V. -Galeni-Malformation ist das fetale MRT sehr hilfreich, um nach der Geburt die entsprechenden weitergehenden Maßnahmen, wie eine zerebrale Angiographie und Embolisation, frühzeitig zu planen.

Abstract

Acquired central nervous system (CNS) lesions are often subtle; therefore, the prenatal diagnosis of these lesions is extremely important. The fetal ultrasound examination and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are two important imaging methods that give an insight into these types lesions. The method of choice during pregnancy is still fetal ultrasound; however, fetal MRI is important when there are certain pathologies, e.g. periventricular leukomalacia (PVL) or malformations of the vein of Galen. In this manner clinicians can plan further therapy after childbirth in advance (e.g. cerebral angiography or embolization).
