Abstract
By the end of 2009, the European Services Directive for the domestic market which the European Parliament and Council have launched in December 2006, will become a reality. Further to the freedom of establishment and less bureaucratic hurdles, it offers great advantages for call center providers in the German market. But it will also create intensive competition. Also, the new contact center standards will be part of the directive and help secure quality and service levels for call center providers.
