Summary
Testing equality of regression coefficients is considered in the context of Zellner's model of ‘seemingly unrelated regressions’ and simultaneous confidence intervals for differences of regression coefficients are constructed by means of Scheffé's S-method. These considerations are illustrated by an application to a simple consumption function for Austria.
