Summary

The Lesser Spotted Eagle, which in Central, East and South-East Europe inhabits humid lowlands and hilly ground, has been regularly observed in the Caucasus, north-west Georgia, USSR, hunting over high alpine meadows above the treeline, 2,300 to 3,100 m above sea level.
