Über den diagnostischen Wert der präscalenischen Biopsie (Daniels-Operation)

Zusammenfassung

Die operative Entfernung des auf dem M. scalenus anterior befindlichen, reichlich Lymphknoten enthaltenden Fettpolsters (präscalenische Biopsie) kann in vielen Fällen wertvolle diagnostische Aufschlüsse liefern. Verfasser beschreiben auf Grund von Literaturangaben und ihrer eigenen Erfahrungen die Methode und ihr Anwendungsgebiet. In 17 ihrer 62 Fälle resultierten positive histologische Befunde von diagnostischer Beweiskraft (27,5%). In ihrer Praxis hat sich das Verfahren am besten bei der Diagnostizierung der Boeckschen Sarkoidose bewährt. Es wird eine Umgrenzung der Operationsindikationen gegeben.
