Conclusions

  1. The kinetics of the decomposition of H2O2 in the presence of aqua-ions of Fe(III) and tetranitro-methane was investigated.

  2. An intermediate product of the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide, inhibited by tetranitromethane-nitroform-captures free radicals and forms peroxonitrous acid, which induces autocatalysis in the system H2O2-Fe(III)-C(NO2)4.
