Summary

A taxonomic revision of the genus Gomphostemma Wall. ex Benth. in Sabah and Sarawak is presented. Three species, G. microcalyx Prain, G. javanicum (Blume) Benth., and G. curtisii Prain are recognised; one new species, G. hirsutum Walsingham, is described.
