The compilation of [1995Vil] on this ternary system presented a partial liquidus projection in the V-lean region and five vertical sections at 5, 8, 10, and 14 mass% Si and at 5 mass% V respectively, all from the studies of [1961Geb] and a partial isothermal section at 1000 °C for V-rich alloys from [1969Mul] . Recently, [2010Hub] reinvestigated the V-lean region of the system and presented partial isothermal sections at 850, 620, and 500 °C, three vertical sections at 10, 20, and 35 at.% V, a partial liquidus projection and a reaction scheme. This work was briefly reviewed in the update by [2011Rag]. The investigation was extended to the V-rich part by [2011Hub] , who presented a liquidus projection and two isothermal sections at 1300 and 850 °C for the entire composition range and a vertical section at 50 at.% V. This work will be briefly reviewed here.
