Dr. Moussa Youdim
I am pleased to act as the Guest Editor for the Neurochemical Research issue honoring my long-time friend, Moussa Youdim, who among his over 30 editorships, has also served as Editor of this Journal. For over the past 40 years, Moussa significantly contributed to neuroscience and helped neuroscientists. Moussa must have special genes, which produce creative ideas 24 h a day—how else could somebody account for so many achievements as he has?

Moussa started his secondary education in England and received his graduate education and Ph.D. in Biochemistry at McGill University in Montreal, Canada in 1966, which was followed by 6 years at the University of London and 5 years at the University of Oxford before he settled at his present place in 1977 where he is Professor of Pharmacology, Professor of Life Sciences, and Director of Eve Topf and NPF Centers of Excellence for Neurodegenerative Diseases Research, Technion-Rappaport Family Faculty of Medicine in Haifa, Israel.
