Discrete-cumulative magnetic control of iron-containing impurities in gasolines

The possibility of controlling iron-bearing impurity content in gasolines is shown. The article points out the deficiencies of existing magnetic control methods and describes a unique discrete-cumulative method of magnetic control that employs a chain of test-filters. A compact magnetic analyzer designed for use in GAZel cars is tested, and the concentration and degree of extraction of iron impurities in gasoline are determined. Histograms are presented to show the size distribution of the quantity, volume, and surface area of the extracted iron impurities.
