:LiSrAlF6 (Cr:LiSAF) regenerative amplifier, seeded by a diode-pumped Cr:LiSAF femtosecond oscillator. The amplifier produced pulses of less than 200 fs duration and greater than 1 μJ energy at repetition rates of up to 25 kHz.
