Zusammenfassung
Das Peniskarzinom gehört zu den seltenen Tumoren. Peniskarzinome entstehen nahezu ausschließlich bei nicht zirkumzidierten Männern. Außerdem ist ein Großteil der Peniskarzinome HPV-assoziiert. Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit der Wertigkeit von Zirkumzision und der HPV- (Human-papillomavirus-)Impfung in der Prävention von Peniskarzinomen.
Abstract
Penile cancer is rare. Penile cancers appear predominantly in non-circumcised men. In addition, the majority of penile cancers are associated with human papillomavirus infection. The present manuscript is concerned with the value of circumcision and HPV vaccination in the prevention of penile cancer.
