Millimetre wave spectrum of17O2. Magnetic hyperfine structure and quandrupole coupling constants

Summary

The millimetre-wave spectrum of17O2 has been first observed and analysed. More than 500 lines have been assigned and the analysis of these by means of a computer program espressly written yields the following molecular parameters (in MHz): $$\begin{gathered} B_0 = 40561.37(4), \mu _0 = - 237.6462(5), \beta = 46.679(3), \hfill \\ \lambda _0 = 59498.879(5), \mu _1 = - 0.000217(1), \chi = - 8.29(5), \hfill \\ \lambda _1 = 0.05479(3), \alpha = - 54.758(3). \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$

Riassunto

È stato osservato e analizzato per la prima volta lo spettro millimetrico di17O2. Sono state assegnate piú di 500 righe e l’analisi di queste per mezzo di un programma di calcolo scritto appositamente ha fornito i seguenti valori dei parametri molecolari espressi in MHz: $$\begin{gathered} B_0 = 40561.37(4),\mu _0 = - 237.6462(5),\beta = 46.679(3), \hfill \\ \lambda _0 = 59498.879(5),\mu _1 = - 0.000217(1),\chi = - 8.29(5), \hfill \\ \lambda _1 = 0.05479(3),\alpha = - 54.758(3). \hfill \\ \end{gathered} $$

Резюме

Наблюдался и анализируется спектр17O2 в области миллиметровых волн. Идентифицированы более 500 линий.
