Abstract

The paper presents a surgical method of treatment of solitary cysts of the kidney situated deep in the renal parenchyma. The procedure consists in filling up the lumen of the cyst with a widely pedunculated lobe of perineal adipose tissue. The authors give descriptions and radiological documentation of 3 patients in whom a solitary cyst of the central renal area was found. Postoperative X-ray control showed a complete regression of compressive signs and a normal arrangement of renal calyces
