Zusammenfassung
Wenn die Nullstellen eines gegebenen Polynoms mit reellen Koeffizienten negativen Realteil haben, dann hat die zugehörige Hurwitz-Matrix nur positive Eigenwerte. Diese sind entweder sämtlich verschieden, oder es existiert einer der Vielfachheit zwei. Im Falle eines Doppeleigenwertes ist die Hurwitz-Matrix nicht derogatorisch, die Menge ihrer Eigenvektoren ist nicht vollständig, d. h. ihre Jordansche Normalform ist nicht diagonal.
