Wide angle X-ray scattering (WAXS) was performed on isotropic and uniaxial drawn samples of polycarbonate (PC). The density correlation functions are calculated from X-ray scattering intensity data and the short range order is discussed. A distinction between intra- and intermolecular correlations can be made. Orientation of PC does not change the short range order up to 1.5 nm.
