Summary
A 10-year-old boy presented with a brain-stem tumour diagnosed radiologically which had an expanding calcified image during the 6-month terminal stage. Histological examination of this tumour revealed a glioblastoma-like lesion associated with a differentiated chondrosarcoma; the latter showed a calcified image radiologically.
