Abstract

The humanral proteins share more than 50% homology and some properties with theras proteins. TheRALB gene, a new member of theral family, has been isolated, sequenced, and assigned to human chromosome 2 cen-q13. One other member of this family,RALA, has been previously mapped to the short arm of human chromosome 7.
