Abstract
The second child of a mother with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura was given 400 mg/kg per day polyethylenglycol-treated gammaglobulins during the first 5 days of life. Thromobocytes increased from 15×109/l to 200×109/l within 10 days and remained at this level afterwards.
