Die Läsionen der Kardia (Mallory-Weiss-Syndrom)

Zusammenfassung

Berichtet wird über 14 Fälle mit charakteristischen Läsionen im Kardiabereich des Magens, die in einem Zeitraum von 3 Jahren im Obduktionsgut des Pathologischen Institutes der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg beobachtet wurden.

Die klinischen Erscheinungen sowie die autoptischen makroskopischen und mikroskopischen Befunde zeigen eine weitgehende übereinstimmung mit den vonMallory undWeiss (1929) beschriebenen Fällen.

Ursache der Kardiaschleimhautläsionen ist das rezidivierte Erbrechen, das auch als führendes klinisches Symptom bei der Mehrzahl der beschriebenen Fälle vorhanden ist. Der als weitere Ursache vonMallory undWeiss beobachtete Alkoholabusus war in keinem der 14 Fälle nachweisbar.

Auf Grund der in einigen Fällen auftretenden finalen Haematemesis mit akutem Verblutungstod hat dieses Syndrom auch in dem gerichtsmedizinischen Sektionsgut bei den als „plötzlicher Tod“ zur Obduktion kommenden Fällen seine Bedeutung.
