Zusammenfassung
Oft ist die Adipositas-Chirurgie für Menschen mit deutlich zu viel Körpergewicht und Diabetes Typ 2 die letzte Hoffnung auf Gesundung. Doch bei aller Freude über die zu erwartenden schnellen und spektakulären Effekte auf Gewicht und Stoffwechsel müssen die Risiken der den Magen-Darm-Trakt oft stark verändernden Operationen im Blick behalten werden.
