Surgical management of young arthritic knee: a review

Abstract

Increased life expectancy, higher demands of activity and the aspiring need to match the lifestyles of the similar age group has made the surgical management of young arthritic knee a challenge. Surgical management is thought, after all conservative measures have been exhausted and if activities of daily living are significantly affected.
