Samenvatting

De bursitis olecrani en de bursitis prepatellaris zijn subcutane ontstekingen van slijmbeurzen die gelokaliseerd zijn tussen de huid en het olecranon, respectievelijk de patella. We onderscheiden infectieuze en niet-infectieuze vormen. De huisartsgeneeskundige registratiesystemen coderen deze bursitiden niet apart, ze vallen onder de ICPC-code L99 ‘Andere ziekten van het bewegingsapparaat’ zodat het niet mogelijk is om incidentie- of prevalentiecijfers te geven.
