Zusammenfassung
1. Von 13 Populationen aus der Schweiz, aus Frankreich und aus Portugal wurde die Chromosomenstruktur untersucht.
2. Die 23 verschiedenen Inversionen, die in den Populationen auftraten, werden beschrieben.
3. Die Inversionen sind weitverbreitet. Mit Sicherheit als endemisch zu bezeichnende Inversionen wurden keine gefunden.
4. Die Inversionsfrequenzen unterliegen keinen jahreszeitlichen Schwankungen.
5. Die Populationen unterscheiden sich zum Teil in der Häufigkeit einzelner Inversionen.
6. In den französischen Populationen ist der chromosomale Polymorphismus größer als in den schweizerischen Populationen.
7. Die Ergebnisse werden diskutiert.
