About the editors

WeiQiang Pang is a professor at Xi'an Modern Chemistry Research Institute. His research mainly focuses on the innovative energetic materials and their combustion, application in solid propellants. In recent years he has published more than 100 papers in international, peer-reviewed journals, more than 50 patents, and 5 books.

Luigi T. DeLuca received his Ph.D. degree from Princeton University, USA, in 1976. He then worked as a Professor at the Space Propulsion Laboratory (RET), Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy. He is currently a Visiting Professor at Nanjing University of Science & Technology, China.

Alexander A. Gromov currently works at Rapid prototyping centre "Kinetica" of the National University of Science and Technology "MISiS". His research focuses on energetic materials, combustion chemistry, additive manufacturing etc. He has published more than 100 articles and 10 books.

Prof Cumming obtained both his degrees in Chemistry from the University of Edinburgh. He has worked on energetic materials since 1976. He was latterly an advisor to the MOD, and was based at the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory until 2014. He has particular current interest in the environmental issues and the design of new materials for energetic systems.
