About this book

As a result of extensive research Macmillan have produced Teacher's Notes and Teacher's Cassettes to work in conjunction with the New Editions of Breakthrough. The notes provide support and additional resources to tutors who are using the course with a group of students. Features include: clearly set out ideas and suggestions for additional classroom activities and exercises, four pages per unit of photocopiable resources, full transcripts of the pre-recorded listening and speaking exercises. The cassettes have been produced for the classroom, taking the teacher's role into account and omitting superfluous presenter narratives.

The Teacher's Guides and Cassettes are based on the main level 1 coursebook and cassettes, which can be bought separately or in a pack. Activity Books are also available for Breakthrough German level 1.

N.B. Teacher's Guides and Cassettes are only available to lecturers.
