About this book

This book seeks to address the question of how we should understand the impact of Mitt Romney's faith in the 2012 election. As the first Mormon to earn a presidential nomination from a major party, the book provides a comprehensive study of Romney's historic candidacy.

About the author

Luke Perry is Chair and Associate Professor of Government at Utica College, USA. Perry earned a PhD in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts and spent three years working at Southern Utah University. Perry, a Fulbright Scholar, is a leading expert on Mormons and politics. His previous book, Mormons in American Politics; From Persecution to Power, was published in 2013.
