Abstract
A complex of geobotanical characteristics is given for northern Tien Shan phytocenoses, in which medical plants occur. The current state of dominant species in communities is assessed, and the following medical plants are considered: Veratrum lobelianum, Origanum vulgare, Aconitum leucostomum, Artemisia santolinifolia, Hypericum perforatum, and Inula grandis.
