Abstract
A model for the heat exchange of roll fittings rolls with a rolled piece and cooling water is considered. This thermal model can be used to determine the temperature of the rolls both in their volume and on the working surfaces. To model the thermal state of the rolls, a three-dimensional heat conduction equation is derived and boundary conditions are selected. The formulated system of equations is solved using the FlowVision program by the finite difference method, by introducing a three-dimensional mesh on a roll and using the operator splitting method.
