Abstract

The structure and mechanical properties of 09G2S steel are studied during uniaxial tension tests in the temperature range from room temperature to 1200°C. The temperatures above which the strength properties of the steel decrease are determined. Austenite grain growth is shown to be very weak in the temperature range from room temperature to 1000°C.
