Abstract
The current state of Engels Capron OJSC was analyzed using a cause@mdash;effect diagram. The basic causes favoring solution of quality problems were determined: the position of upper management and personnel, i.e, the human factor, and the financial situation. Although the rapid change in the financial situation in modern economic conditions is a difficult to solve problem, introduction of quality ideology in an enterprise is actually a feasible action. Use of flow charts, plotting of histograms, Shewhart control charts, scattering diagrams, and Pareto diagrams for analysis of the variability of PCA quality indexes were proposed. The efficacy of using them for solving concrete problems was demonstrated.
