Cross-Linking, Deformation-Strength Properties, and Combustibility of Filled Polyethylene

  • Published:
Fibre Chemistry Aims and scope

Abstract

The possibility of reducing the combustibility and deformability of polyethylene under a load by incorporation of ammonium polyphosphate and fire-proofed viscose fiber was investigated. The dependence of the physicomechanical and thermophysical properties of the composite materials on the composition of the composite and fabrication conditions.
