Summary
Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) show a still largely unexplored potential for the treatment of many (especially degenerative) diseases. Numerous studies have shown that photo-biomodulation (PBM) over the long bones can significantly improve the number of circulating stem cells in the blood. PBM, laser acupuncture, diet, herbs, and certain trace minerals and vitamins can enhance the formation and survival and transformation of MSCs. The MSCs can help aging and impaired organs to regenerate and improve their function.
