Additional information

An article based on an address by Dr. Mead who, at the time, was serving as President of the World Federation for Mental Health, given at the National Health Forum on the theme of Better Mental Health—Challenge to All. Other participants in the Forum were Francis J. Braceland, M.D., then President of the American Psychiatric Association and Chairman of the National Health Forum Committee, who spoke on “Putting Available Tools to Work,” and Dr. Harold D. Lasswell, Professor of Law and Political Science, Yale University, who spoke on “Mental Health and American Values.” Both of these articles will be published later. Reprinted by permission.
