Summary

This paper deals with a case of arthritis of the knee with adjacent osteomyelitis caused byMycobacterium terrae in a patient with rheumatoid arthritis; this confirms the pathogenicity of this organism.

Zusammenfassung

In diesem Artikel wird ein Fall von infektiöser Arthritis des Kniegelenks mit angrenzender Osteomyelitis bei einem Patienten mit rheumatoider Arthritis beschrieben. Diese Infektion wurde durchMycobacterium terrae verursacht, womit die Pathogenität dieser Organismen bestätigt wird.
