Voluntary dislocation of both hips in a child

Summary

Voluntary dislocation of the hip is very uncommon. Only twelve cases have been reported and most affected one hip. We report voluntary dislocation of both hips in a three year old girl which gradually resolved without treatment.

La luxation volontaire de la hanche est extrêment rare. Douze cas seulement ont été rapportés dans la littérature. La plupart des cas sont unilatéraux. On rapporte ici une luxation volontaire bilatérale de la hanche chez une fillette de trois ans, qui est en train de disparaître graduellement, sans traitement.
