Zusammenfassung
Von der griechischen Antike geht eine Faszination aus. Sie berührt auch den, der weiß, dass sie, so wegweisend sie für die neue Welt geworden ist, der alten Welt angehört. Die Faszination heftet sich zumeist an die Begründung der Philosophie, sie geht aber gleicherweise von der Ausbildung der Demokratie aus. Von der führt zwar kein wirkungsgeschichtlicher Zusammenhang zur Demokratie unserer Zeit.
