Abstract

Ovarian cancer causes more deaths than any other gynecologic malignancy. Incidence increases somewhat with age above 50, but not greatly. Figure 8.1 shows this clearly. It seems that there are environmental and/or life-style factors that influence this disease, as incidence varies widely around the world.
