Femtosecond spectroscopy of silver nanoparticles in different dielectric matrixes

Abstract

The dynamics of electrons heated with femtosecond optical pulses is investigated in silver nanoparticles. The electron-lattice relaxation is compared for particles in various surrounding matrixes.
